“Today, we can access our favourite music in our pocket and bring it with us everywhere at any time. What if we could make people more conscious of the sound we have associated with places and times as a memory linked to a specific place”.
Based on this idea, Puddle Sound has created a vacuum tube amplifier named “#001 TOKYO.”

由此，Puddle Sound推出了真空管音頻放大器「#001 TOKYO」

そんな発想から、Puddle Soundが提案する真空管アンプ「＃001 TOKYO」

The amplifier, named for the world’s largest metropolis, was designed for the top floor suite of the hotel sequence MIYASHITA PARK (located in the center of Tokyo) to create the site-specific soundscape.

The amplifier utilises various primitive materials such as clay, glasses, and solid metals to take the audience on a journey to a new sensory experience. The steel casing has been coated in a natural clay render with a rough texture. In the housing, are several glass vacuum tubes and a custom-made circular heatsink (comprising 400 copper cooling pins) takes the appearance of like a desert landscape. For spaces where art and daily life coexist, Puddle Sound offers the custom-made amplifier, including architectural acoustic design (Only 15 limited-edition models will be available).

Modern Tokyo-style guest room design / Original sound recorded around Shibuya / The integrity of the tube amplifier as art. With these three elements brought together; you can discover an immersive and reflective Tokyo soundscape previously never experienced.

以TOKYO為名的音頻放大器，是因為在能將東京城景一覽無盡的「sequence MIYASHITA PARK」酒店頂樓套房中，為了打造出所最合適的聲音環境而設計出的放大器。使用土壤、金屬、玻璃，三種原始素材，與此空間的設計一起打造出獨特的真空管音頻放大器，讓人們藉由由聲音而產生新的體驗。鋼質底盤上連結著粗獷風格的泥瓦，在這之中有著多達400支的銅棒以圓盤狀排列成散熱片，與並排的真空管，彷彿像是沙上的美麗風景一樣。同時Puddle Sound也接受音頻放大器的訂製（限定15項作品），針對有藝術品擺放需求的地方，將放大器以作品來擺設，並配合整體空間進行音響設計。

代表著現代東京的客房設計、澀谷週邊環境錄音的獨創音源、如藝術作品一般提高完成度的真空管音頻放大器：在這些元素的交疊之中，有著你尚未體驗過的東京。

TOKYOの名を冠したこのアンプは、東京を見渡すことのできるホテル「sequence MIYASHITA PARK」最上階にふさわしい音環境を得るためにつくられた。

音による新たな体験を生み出すために、土、金属、ガラスというプリミティブな素材を用い、
この空間と共にデザインされたスペシフィックな真空管アンプ。
スチール素地のベースの上は、流々しい表情の左官で仕上げられた。ベース上に見える真空管と400本もの銅ロッドを円盤状に配したヒートシンクは、砂上の風景のようにも見える。

作品としての存在が求められる場所に対しては、空間に合わせた音響設計を含め、アンプのオーダーが可能だという。現代の東京を表した客室デザイン、渋谷界隈でフィールドレコーディングされたオリジナル音源、アートピースとして完成度を高めた真空管アンプ。
それらが重なり合うところに、未体験の東京がある。
